Hi Baby
Ma is so in love with babies lately. If we pass a baby in a store, she throws a fit and says "hi baby, hi baby...." until I go back and let her see and say hi to the baby. At church today she did the same thing and when I held our friend's baby, she just loved all over him (thanks again for letting me hold him Candace!). One of our other friends just had a baby last week and we were able to see and hold her. Ma loved it, and after a little while Pres warmed up and decided to hold her too. She is beautiful Teresa!! Thanks for letting us love on her!
Look what Ryan won!!
Ryan went to a Boise Chamber of Commerce "Meet and Great" night the other night and he won this! Neither one of us wins anything so we were pretty excited about this. He tried to bring it home and tell me he bought it for me. Ha ha! I know him better than this and he is not that smoothe. Every once in a while, but this was a little more than he would do. Love ya though Ry!! We have sure enjoyed it! There was so much here too that we ended up giving some to our friends, juiced a bunch, and still have more left over!
Just because...
Uncle Troy Visits!
Uncle Troy came to visit last week. He had training over here for an internship he is going to start with Northwestern Mutual Insurance (Did I get that right??!). It was fun to have him visit and spend some one on one time with him and really get to know him. The kids had fun wrestling with him and just hanging out. Thanks for coming to stay with us! Good luck with the new job!
Little Ma
This is how we have found Ma a few times lately at night. She is such a stinker and doesn't like to go to sleep. Apparently she fell asleep this way, or she woke up in the middle of the night and started getting out of bed. She has actually fallen out of her big bed a couple times in the middle of the night, so I would much rather find her like this than have her scream and be upset!

Sunday Walks, Lovin' Idaho
Every Sunday afternoon, we usually take a walk or a drive to get out of the house. This past Sunday we showed Ryan a canal we found. The kids obviously had fun in it. But then again, if there is water or mud, my little girl will find it and be in it in a second. She is NOT afraid of getting dirty! Pres had fun chasing Ry and I down with his big wheel, and thought it was hilarious when Ry jumped over him. And of course, I had fun taking pictures!

Uncle Scott Visits!
My brother came to visit us last week and we enjoyed having him here. He left when the kids were taking a nap and when Ma woke up she asked where "Dot" was. We enjoyed watching Scott do magic tricks, getting dipped cones at Fanci Freeze, going shooting (Pres loved picking up all the shotgun shells that were out there!), taking walks, climbing up the big hill at Camels Back Park, and going to the Discovery Center. Thanks for coming to visit Scott!!

I gave in...
I have been thinking about starting a food blog for a while now, and have finally given in. I am not an expert by any means when it comes to baking and cooking, but I do know that I like new recipes, love food, and love to bake. So, to keep myself and my recipes from all over in one concise place, I have decided to have a food blog. So, here it is!

McCall
I am late in posting this, but we went to McCall, ID with some friends a couple weeks ago for the weekend. The kids had fun rolling down a big hill by the water and boats, playing in a water fountain, we took a hike (where Pres. experienced peeing off the side of the mountain; just had to get a picture of that!!) and stopped to pick fresh huckleberries (half of which we ate instead of saving!!) and had them in our pancakes the next morning, watched a Triathalon (the picture of us all sitting on the road guard is where we were watching the bikers come down the mountain, one of which was Charise's brother), and played in the water. It was so pretty and we had a blast. Thanks again McMullins and Dennings for the fun time!

My big 3 year old!
Today was Preston's third birthday! We made chocolate chip pancakes (which he only took 5 bites of because he already had his usual breakfast, his milk and "go-la-la" meaning granola), opened his "Light Queen" car, then we headed to a birthday party for some friends. Later tonight we headed to the park with some friends and had cake and ice cream. We gave him some other presents, but the only thing he was worried about was getting his train birthday cake. Last year I made him one and since he has seen pictures of it, he has been asking for one for the past few months. Thanks everyone for helping us celebrate and Charise for helping me with the cake!
Pres is getting so big and says the funniest things lately. I asked him how he got so big and his response was, "I eat my vegetables, I grow big and strong!" He loves trains, cars, wrestling, and any type of boy thing including picking on his little sister! We are so glad he is in our family! Love you bug!
