Moving/Christmas cards

Well, it has been an eventful month. We had Ryan's GRADUATION and G & G Griffeth came to visit for a few days for that, we moved out of our apartment and in with G & G Malmberg until we are ready to leave for Idaho (which if I had it my way would be NEVER), Christmas, Ryan finding out HE PASSED his last part of National Boards, me teaching R.S., dealing with two kids with colds and being COMPLETELY disoriented from moving and new schedules, beds, etc....
So, basically, we have been very busy, just like I am sure most of you are in these busy times of back to back holidays and visiting family. We hope all is well with you and your families, that everyone is happy, and healthy and sorry we did not get Christmas/New Year's cards out this year. Between being busy and watching our money, it just did not happen this year. Hopefully next year will be a little more calm. HA! What am I saying?? Moving to Idaho, starting a new business, making new friends... Oh well. I have good intentions, right?! Drop us a line. If anyone has our address, just know we don't live there anymore. When we get a more permanent home, I will let everyone know the new address. Our plan is to find a rental home for 6 months in Meridian until we get things settled with Ryan's business. After that, we hope to buy if all goes according to plan! Cross your fingers and say some prayers for us will you? Love you all and miss everyone that is away!

PS I will post pictures when I can get our computer to work with my parents internet.

Canton and Tyler State Park

This past Saturday we took a day long trip (to see how the kids will handle 3 days in the car driving to Utah and Idaho when we move) and went to Canton and Tyler State Park.  Canton is a town that has a big flea market.  They had some pretty cool things and I had fun drooling over the old fashioned jewelry and the antique furniture, especially the ones covered in toille.  Canton also had "a lot of junk" as Ryan said.  And I would have to agree that hollowed out turtle shells and cow horns would have to be classified as junk.  After we had enough walking around there, we drove another 40 minutes to a town called Tyler and went to their big state park that my family used to go to when we were growing up.  It was so pretty with all of the fall colors and we took a little walk around the park.  Just some good old quality family time.

Gaylord Texan Ice Palace

My family all got together and went to this fancy hotel called the Gaylord Texan.  They had an exhibit of ice sculptures.  It was 9 degrees in there so they gave us big coats and blankets.  It was neat to see all of the things they could do with ice.  They even had some ice slides.
